on Etsy the featured artist is asked, "What would be the title of your memoir?"
I'm constantly changing my title and running them by Ryan, and yesterday's may have been my best yet; "Dying Since the Day She Was Born".
Sooooooooooooooooooo EMO!
But cussing hilarious.
I started the morning off with blowing my nose, which in turn led to a blood gusher. I applied my make-up with a wad of toilet paper shoved up my nose and lamented to no one the sadness and rudeness of it really, truly being -40 degrees outside.

It's a Wonderful Life
"Life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful."
Thank you Cheryl, from Etsy, for putting that out there.

Oh Minnesotah!
Ryan was actually super bummed his eyes were closed in this picture, which is a sure sign of getting older when having documentation of your tree chopping picture does not come out the way one would like. This was his 28th Birthday (ahhh remember those days of pure abuse of one's body dominated by plenty of poor decision making; somehow he's ahead of us there) and being that we live in the Magical Midwest there are a few places that advertise with the word sustainable, this tree farm being one of them. It sure is a great cussing tree. It's rather sad now and needs to be brought out of the house, but I just have not yet been able to force myself to do so.
Winter has finally arrived. It made its grand entrance on Wednesday and took everyone's breath away. We have been rather spoiled this year though, so WHATEVER! If winter wants to start in the middle of January next year too, I won't give a cuss!
It is the last day of the 2nd quarter/1st semester today. This means that we have four 90 minute periods throughout the day, which has great potential for madness. Thankfully yesterday ran smooth and we've started out on a good foot, but our other three classes of the day are rambunctious, to say the least.
I wish I had one of your deliciously healthy juices right now!!! That is my favorite concoction, but I love to add a half of a lemon as well. Bring that ZING!
That camera you got must be AWESOME!!!! Those pictures are beautiful!
Well off to eat my breakfast. Today's menu: spaghetti squash (it's been making a weekly appearance at our house), italian chicken sausage with sautéed with carrots, purple cabbage, and rosemary garlic seasoning. YUM! I wish you were here to enjoy some with me and live a day in the life of this job.
SUPER excited for your art classes too! I cannot wait for my pilates and ballet classes to start.
I love you and miss you tremendously!!!
Love,
Jilly

Health, wealth, and knowledge of self
I Heart Juice...... so today I made the most delicious juice. One of my NYE's goals is to be healthier overall which includes eating (or drinking) more fruits and especially more vegetables. So today not only did I workout but I also drank seriously huge glass of the yummiest juice. I am so awesome!
So, what was in this most delicious concoction you ask........roll call please:
5 carrots
3 celery stalks
2 1-inch pieces of ginger root
As you will see from the pictures when making juice a lot of the plant matter is left behind and I am pretty sure that's where the fiber lives which IS important. However, a glass of juice a few days a week is still a good idea to get a bunch of vitamins through your food in an efficient manner. It wasn't even as expensive as I thought it would be which is always learned. Celery, carrots, apples, and ginger root ( I just realized how cheap ginger actually is, it always seemed pricey but its not that heavy so the price per pound is not even close to what a big chunker of root will cost you...Yay) can all be affordable. The beets were the priciest because they pack some heft but are worth it nutritionally speaking. I haven't gone there yet but adding greens is cheap and super healthy. I am pretty obsessed with the above recipe because it tastes so wonderful (especially with so much ginger it burns your face off...love that).
kisskiss,
Sara

Oh Glory!
I just want to say THANK YOU to St. Ives.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not using parabens or pthalates AND for not testing on animals. You are an amazing company and I truly appreciate you and what you do for my skin; and also for your cost efficiency.
I must go wash my face before bed now with your amazing~ness.

You are...
So cussing ridiculously AWESOME that I could not love you more if I tried. It definitely is a new year if Angi's getting props. Ahhh to grow, to see things in new perspectives, to dream of St. Cupcake for months on end, to have the best~est friends in the whole universe. It must be 2012 and also have been above freezing in North Dakota for almost 3 months straight now of "winter". What the cuss is going on?!?
Well what's going on here is candle burning among the xmas tree lights while eating buttered butter microwave popcorn and watching the season opener of Project Runway Special People who lost before, but are trying again.
Try, try, try again. I'm signing up for my ballet classes tomorrow. I will be a 33.5 year old ballerina; I don't give a cuss.
I love you!
