*HAPPY NEW YEAR*

It's 2012, which I find rather weird. It sounds so futuristic, don't you think? I am up to my classic ways of beginning the year with a visit to the urgent care clinic. Yup, sure did. A bout of sinusitis and pharangitis (huh?) were declared and I was given 10 days of delightful antibiotics. Delish. The doctor was very sweet and even wished me a "Happy New Year" upon departure.
He had also inquired if I'd been exposed to strep throat as mine was looking rather dismal. I thought not, until my slow, vacationed brain caught up with me and remembered that my lovable nephew, Tarq, did indeed have strep over the holiday. Sharing is caring. It was worth it just to see him and his wild Einstein hair and boisterous caveman ways.
So I induced a solid nap thanks to a Nyquil purchase and the man is making me chicken soup later to assist in my recovery.
I am stunned that I have to go back to work on Tuesday. Where did the vacation go?!?
I feel positive though about the return to work and about this big year ahead of us. We have so much to be grateful for and there is a quiet ease in my mind of things truly coming together. We've always had our lists of things we want to accomplish in life and headway has been made. BUT for some reason, I do not know why, I feel the most confident that this year we'll be making epic leaps and bounds into the areas that we have so desired to do!
It's a great feeling!
I am grateful that I get to share my life and thoughts and LISTS with you! It's even better that you care so much about them!
I love you, Happy New Year, and for the love of goodness, eat some St. Cupcakes for me!
Love,
Jilly
