Ryan was actually super bummed his eyes were closed in this picture, which is a sure sign of getting older when having documentation of your tree chopping picture does not come out the way one would like. This was his 28th Birthday (ahhh remember those days of pure abuse of one's body dominated by plenty of poor decision making; somehow he's ahead of us there) and being that we live in the Magical Midwest there are a few places that advertise with the word sustainable, this tree farm being one of them. It sure is a great cussing tree. It's rather sad now and needs to be brought out of the house, but I just have not yet been able to force myself to do so.
Winter has finally arrived. It made its grand entrance on Wednesday and took everyone's breath away. We have been rather spoiled this year though, so WHATEVER! If winter wants to start in the middle of January next year too, I won't give a cuss!
It is the last day of the 2nd quarter/1st semester today. This means that we have four 90 minute periods throughout the day, which has great potential for madness. Thankfully yesterday ran smooth and we've started out on a good foot, but our other three classes of the day are rambunctious, to say the least.
I wish I had one of your deliciously healthy juices right now!!! That is my favorite concoction, but I love to add a half of a lemon as well. Bring that ZING!
That camera you got must be AWESOME!!!! Those pictures are beautiful!
Well off to eat my breakfast. Today's menu: spaghetti squash (it's been making a weekly appearance at our house), italian chicken sausage with sautéed with carrots, purple cabbage, and rosemary garlic seasoning. YUM! I wish you were here to enjoy some with me and live a day in the life of this job.
SUPER excited for your art classes too! I cannot wait for my pilates and ballet classes to start.
I love you and miss you tremendously!!!
Love,
Jilly
